How many steel players can you fit in one room in New Jersey?

Well, at least five by my count. The event was yesterday's Flood Relief Benefit for Jim Mitchell and the Repeat Offenders Band who recently lost equipment in a flood. Held at the 38 West Bar in south Jersey, the final set was played by Jim Mitchell and band, which includes no less than three musicians who are steel players, Tony Foica on bass, Bryan Hall on lead guitar and of course Jack Stanton sounding his usual awesome self and playing his butt off. Also in attendance was my good friend Bo Borland and yours truly. Great time!

It was a large time for a good cause.. There are incriminating pictures somewhere.
Even Jacks' hostage Emmons was there.

Everyone,
Sorry I missed it. Sounds like everyone had a good time for a good cause.

Bo & Jack,
I still want to get to meet you both some time!

Ted,
Are you really in West Trenton? You have to live less than a mile from me. Please PM or email me.

OK now I know where I stand with the rest of the NJ steelers. Cohen is missed and I didn't even know about it. Now that my feelings are hurt I'll just burn my P/P and feel sorry for myself.
OK now that I feel better I can say good job for a good cause.

Hey Guys,

Anybody know where we can get a place to play in Cherry Hill? That's about half way for everyone. Rent by the hour? Nah, that's already too sleazy.

Seriously, if anybody has any ideas, let's hear 'em!

Glenn

Aw, come on Ben, you know as well as I do that North Jersey and So. Jersey are really different states.
Ted should have titled this "South Jersey Steel Convention".
And Ted, if you show up again without Little Walter we're gonna banish you to the North Jersey side. Trenton just about the dividing line, you know....
