Took the Rittenbery over to Gary's to have its anual checkup. Yep, I am fortunate enough to live about 3 hours from Gary. Always a pleasure to visit with him and I learn something about the steel every time I visit. He spent some time to go completely through my Rittenberry and when he finished, it was brand new again. Gary is also quite a good steel player himself.
Thanks Gary, for making great steels and for being a guy that really stands behind his products. |

Very smart to have your steel gone through again. Gary is an extremely knowledgable builder. Occasional maintenance results in an accurate guitar.

Hey guys, it great that you are close enough to go see the old buzzard! I do get to see him at the Dallas show every year.
I think that when I need my guitar checked, I won't go there, but I'll send a lear jet to go get him and bring him to my house to check out the guitars.
I'm just kidding about that; I do have an old covered wagon in the barn; I'll go get him that !! |
