From bluestrat78:

I've always wanted to combine jazz, western swing, country, and blues playing together to create a more old school sounding, more jazz/swing sounding rockabilly solo style. That is, jazz/swing type licks/playing over a 12 bar blues progression. In other words, I wanna play jazzabilly! I'm still figuring it all out, but, here's where I'm at so far. Enjoy! Smile

Equipment: A red Squier Affinity Telecaster with Fender SCN pickups, (I know, I know! I really want to try some Alnico V's or some G&L ASAT MFD pickups!), a 1973 Peavey Pacer 1x12 amp, (found it in the garbage down the street! No joke! It still works though! lol.)

Very nice to see a young man playing sophisticated licks on guitar, and not using a bunch of stupid effects. Reminds me of Asleep at the Wheel, and other great Western Swing bands.

There is a Western Swing Society that meets regularly in Auburn, Washington (I believe). Most of the people there would be a couple generations, or more, older than you, but they would probably love your playing. You would probably meet some very good swing players who have played with big name acts from years gone by. Just a thought.

Sorry guys I didn't mean to mislead anyone. I don't know the identity of the guitar player, but he is 23 years of age & I'm over the hill at 68. Laughing
