Yesterday Dave Beatty was kind enough to send me a treasure trove of new Telonics gear!...The new Preamp I have not hooked into my rack yet, but the first pickup was installed today..The first is a humbucking type with a set of pole pieces and a blade as well, pic attached!...I AM REALLY IMPRESSED.
Ive gotten used to my 705s in my G2-S12, and they sound great!!...The seperation in this pickup is on a new level though...Great stuff Dave...Ill be trying the others as soon as I wear out this set of strings!!

They look cool Mickey. I like the pole peice adjustment since I use a Wound 6th. Dumb question maybe, but are they active? Ron

Micky you will be impressed when you play them out on a gig too ... I have the 34 on C6th and the 84 on E9th on one of my Zum's and they are outstanding pickups, I have tried them in a number of different environments from large outdoor settings to intimate pub/club dates and have been really thrilled with their performance. Dave wanted me to swap them around and see what I thought but I have been loath to change anything right now because they are so good.

My guitar tone is always morphing, and always improving I think..Telonics gear has been a big part of that. The Telonics Pedals I have are just marvelous.
I played my G2 out this afternoon, and my guitar was cutting through the crowd with the greatest of ease...and this is just the first one ive tried...!!>

I got the '84' just this evening.. Will probably fit it in the morning.

I can't wait to see what it's like.

Keep you all updated....

This shows how good it records, direct from steel to PC, only reverb added at the DAW.

This PUP aint going anywhere ! Its CERTAINLY staying on this Rains.

Listen carefully to the note separation when I hit 2 or 3 strings, amazing..

I've just had Telonics pickups in my Infinity and I am more than happy with the sound it puts out. The sound is so rich and vibrant and the bass notes are full and sustaining. I cannot say enough too express my satisfaction with this pickup. Thanks soooooo much Dave and Stacy Very Happy Very Happy

Sure makes a guitar sound good. Anyone willing to tell what the cost is for one of these pickups?
