Hi all. I am just wondering if anyone else has this change on their guitar. I lower string 9 a half step on the same lever that lowers my Es to D#s. This really helps me to obtain quicker runs on the low strings, and also is makes a 6th chord strummable without a sharp note in between. At one point I set up the guitar to raise the 9th string a half step which sounded very nice when switching from a 6th root chord to a 4 chord by releasing the lever, but I still find dropping the note is more functional.

Would there be any musical situations where I would want to lower my Es and not lower the D NOTE?

Note: I also lower 9 a half step on a separate pedal that lowers the second string a whole step (standard change). I understand that just lowering the D alone is essential for many situations.

Thanks!
Stephen
