If you're into great songwriting, he's well worth the ticket. _________________ Jackson Steel Guitars

i grew up around Raleigh, NC, where he got his start - i am around his age, and remember hearing the buzz about this band Whiskytown, and since my friends and i were all vintage country nuts, we went to a few shows only to find out that at least during those early years, no one gave a crap about bothering to tune their instruments or play in time, (or even learn how to play their instrument) kind of a punk-era attitude doing country themed music - his songwriting was always the draw no doubt. _________________ '65 Sho-Bud D-10 Permanent • '54 Fender Dual-8 • Clinesmith T-8 • '38 Ric Bakelite • '92 Emmons D-10 Legrande II |

Congrats Jon! _________________ Regards, Craig

Finally! When I had a chance to speak with Shooter a few years ago, I naturally asked him if he knew about his father's main man, Ralph Mooney. Then I kindly suggested that Shooter incorporate a pedal steel guitar into the band, and he said one of the regular guitar players in the band was starting to learn pedal steel. Either way, Jon Graboff is a top-notch steel man and his style will work well with anyone, especially Shooter. Can't wait to hear. |
