Line 6 Variax 700 Electric / Acoustic Guitar

I upgraded to a new JTV59 Variax, so the 700 needs to go. This guitar was made in Japan and is better quality than the lower end Variaxes that were made in China, Tiawan, or Korea. It is in good condition and everything works fine, and has been played very little in the few years I've owned it. There is a repaired ding on the front at the top of the lower bout where there is a slightly lighter streak under the lacquer, but the repair is smooth and only visible up close. There may be other small blemishes from normal handling and playing, but as you can see in the pictures there is nothing serious. The action is low and easy to play, and it comes with the original heavily padded gig bag case, a TRS cable for powering the guitar from the footswitch/direct box, and the direct box and the power adapter. It also comes with the original tremolo bar, and the original user's manual (pilot's guide).

I especially liked the Les Paul model's, the sitar patch, and the acoustics. It even has a realistic banjo patch. An adapter can be purchased to connect the guitar to your computer's USB port, and used with Workbench software from Line 6, you can tweak the existing programs and store them in the custom locations, or set up your own custom programs.

These guitars can also be connected to a Line 6 POD XT Live, or some of the newer models that have a dedicated Variax input. These units can be used to change the models on the Variax so when you change patches on the POD, it automatically chooses the model on the Variax that you stored with that particular patch. There are several factory patches for the Variax in the POD XT LIVE that sound really good. When used with the POD XT LIVE, the guitar is powered from the POD so the power adapter, or battery pack are not needed.

The battery compartment cover is not shown in the pictures, but it is included. I took it off for pictures of the battery holder and forgot to put it back on.
