Well, here is my first "left handed' Justice.
Actually it was not to bad of a build. Went a lot smoother than folks had told me it would.
The Gentleman I built this for, Mr. Scottie Baker back in Champaign IL. is not a Forum member and ask me to post this for him, he's a mighty proud man today.
It was way different to build, as Scottie plays left handed on top, but pedals the same as most of us do with our left foot.
Scottie went from a D-10 to this SD-10 with 5 pedals and 5 knee levers. ( Pictures below )
Scottie is going to try and join the Forum next week maybe, and he'll most likely post at that time.
Congratulation Scottie and THANK YOU.

Fred, that is soo shiny that I thought the third picture had been photo-shopped. It looks like part of the left rear leg is missing. I zoomed in and found it to be an illusion due to the extreme mirror-like finish. Looks great. _________________ At long last, July 14, 2011 and I have a musical instrument I CAN play.

I saw Scotty at the Steel convention and he told me he had ordered a new Justice psg. What a cool looking steel!! Scotty is a great player. He was one of the first pedal steel guitar players that I would go to hear on a regular basis. His playing was inspirational to a whole bunch of us young steel players back in the day. He's gonna love this steel. |

Bob M. thank you Sir.
Bob W. you know, back when I ran with Russ Woolen and the Smith brothers Harold & Butch, we went and checked out Scottie several times. He was a very good player back then as well. Ah, the good ole days.
Bob V. yes, I thought long and hard about the logo's and the thing I settled on is.
Its only a "lefty" to Scotty and he don't see the logo anyway. So to the audience its just a Justice steel guitar, so I let it read that way. Made since to me. _________________ Email: azpedalman@gmail.com

Fred, I didn't know you knew Russ Woolen. I am headed to a memorial jam dedicated to Russ later on today. He was a great guy. I see Harold Smith every once in awhile. I'll mention you to him the next time I see him. That sure is a pretty steel you built for Scotty. |
