In another thread we got to talking about C6th changes and I made the comment that I would like to add the raise to C# on my 3rd string. I am out of levers. Is there really any problem with raising it also on the "Boo-wah" pedal? Is it possible to use on my pedal 9 (see below - I would take the changes on P9 off as I rarely use that pedal. I could possibly activate it with my right foot. I could probably live without my LKV changes and put it there.

Richard...if you put it on your "Boo Wah" pedal, (or LKL in your case) then you lose the cool (although sometimes overused) 7#9 "Hold it" chord. Also you won't be able to use the C# to add valuable extensions to chords that use the low notes on pedals 5&6, since the Boo Wah would over ride those. I guess you might try two footin' it on your pedal 9.

*After re-reading your post, I'd definitely put it on your vertical!

I'd suggest keeping the C#s on a knee, since you say you sometimes miss the old high-V C6.

Not saying I've got a pipeline to the truth, but here's my changes. Regrettably, P4 sacrificed its parts for the Franklin raise. Sorry I don't have a spreadsheet app.

P5 2+½, 6-½
P6 3,4 +1
P7 7+½, 9-½, 10-1½ also 1+½ (a change I put on just because I eventually want to play Für Elise, and ISTR it being crucial, the 2nd note and all)
P8 3,7 +½

LKV 4,8 +½
LKR = P5 (5-½, 9+½,10+1)

RKL 4-½, 8-1
RKR 3-½

Found this last week. I to IV in C. I'm sure it's been played before.

C#KL = Raise 3rd String C-C#
BKL = Lower 3rd String C-B

I'll sometimes hit pedal 8 and raise my 3rd to C# - I'd always want them to be independent of each other, though.

If I were you in this situation, I would put it on LKL with the Boo-Wha (for "Trial 1-A" at least).
Here's why.
You know how E>F is the F lever of the E9 tuning?...'
Well, C>C# is the "F" lever" of the C6th tuning, and in this case you will not only have it on the lever you are already used to (assuming you raise E's on LKL on E9), you then have it on your root C's at strings 3 and 7 (You could add it to string 10 also if you wanted to disable the Boo Wha on strings 9 and 10).

Here's the thing... you can always "back off" the string-3 C note at the endplate tuner ('takes like 5 seconds at most) if someone calls Hold It, or Foxy Lady.

Or hit the B lever to pull it back down to C.
I don't like the combo change, I'm too fond of "resolving" the #9 down to a 9 with the B lever. I don't like leaving the #9 hanging long

If you need a rod for LKL, take the rod and hardware from the 9th string, and put it on the 3rd string.
Now move your string 10 Boo-Wha lower rod to a string 10 raise position.
You know have a full blown C>C# lever (and you never have to worry about the Boo-Wha pedal ever again Razz ).

I just got finished giving someone a C6th lesson and realized what you are talking about. Forgot about that.

Pete, I still use the Boowah pedal to play out of an A root position.

I might try it on P9 to see if I like it there. I would probably go ahead and raise both 3 and 7. If not, I might go ahead and can the change on LKV (which I do use a little) and put it there. Of course I have to weigh that against how often I use what's on LKV now. I basically don't use P9 at all now. Since my P7 is on RKR, I made P9 (along with RKR)give me a G dobro tuning on strings 3 - 8 to use with my dobro simulator, but it didn't work that great.
