Larry, they built your guitar upside down.
How about some pics of the top. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Playing for 55 years and still counting. |

Give 'em a little more time. Their site seems to be under construction. _________________ C#

LARRY - Thanks for posting the under carriage of your Sho-Pro, looks very professional, neat & clean. You steel looks very cool, nice choice in color.
The Problem I have now is with all those color combinations, I like most of them, but only one color would be my main choice, (#87 & 55 are my best choices so far.)

That's a beautiful S12U!
I wonder why they went with round cross-shafts???
At least they steer clear of cotter-pins.
These two items (round cross shafts, and pull-rods held to bellcranks with cotter-pins) are negatives for me (on any brand).
Note to builders...
Many of us like to be able to add/remove bellcranks quickly (square cross-shafts), and switch bellcrank slot positions without using a tool (no pins or allen wrench please). |

They are great guitars, but I would prefer the endplate attachment screws to be on the inside of the front apron myself ! Just being picky _________________ 14'Zumsteel Hybrid D10 9+9

Thanks Larry. That is gorgeous. If I ever get to buy a new guitar (it will have to be two) I want either a Show-Pro or a Mullen. Tough decision. That's why I'll just have to buy both. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . That's what I love about my Show Pro. The bottom side is just as beautiful, as the top! Thanks, Jeff! _________________ Show Pro,SD-10,3x5 1996 Emmons Legrande II 3x5, 1976 Emmons P/P 3x4 BJS Bar Peavey Nashville 400, Peavey 112, '76 Fender Twin, and Steeler's Choice Sidekick. |

Hi Chris,
Show Pro will install the split tuning screws on request. However , I opted for the extra pull rod for split tuning the 6th string G# to F# lower. Works great. |

Interesting Tommy. Any insight as to why you chose one over the other (inquiring minds want to know). _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Show Pro don't outsource their cabinets. They are manufactured in-house from their considerable stock of exotic maple. The woods used are hand selected to order, and as you can see they are as beautiful underneath as they are on top. As Tommy White once told me, each one is a custom shop instrument. A new Show Pro is definitely one for my future shopping list. _________________ Show Pro D10 - amber (8+6), MSA D10 Legend XL Signature - redburst (9+6), Sho-Bud Pro 111 Custom (8+6), Emmons black Push-Pull D10 (8+5), Zum D10 (8x8), Hudson pedal resonator. I own two Show Pros . The last one I bought ,I went to the Show Pro factory and picked out the wood that I wanted . Jeff and Gloria are so helpful . You can custom build your Show Pro almost any way you want it . Wood , color , pickups , keyhead (straight or curved),knee levers (straight or teardrop),your choice of inlay , fretboard , etc ....
