This is a little half remembered 60s instrumental tune that I use as a pick blocking exercise. It's an annoying little earworm that just cropped up and I am wondering whether anyone can identify it.

That's "Java". Al Hirt had a hit with that back in the 60s. Younger folks will associate it with the Muppets!

Yep, "Java". Nice work, Guy! The melody lays out nicely on C6 and it's an excellent pick blocking exercise.

Guy or Doug or anyone else: Would it be possible to put in the fingering you are using? I can palm block this with no trouble, but I don't get how to pick block this tune.

Are you using thumb and one finger, or thumb and two fingers?

Obviously I'm a rookie at pick blocking. Thanks.
