'72 Emmons D-10 push-pull, natural blond maple cabinet with metal necks with bolt-on changers, 9x4, serial number: 1612 D. I believe this guitar originally had wooden neck, and someone replaced them with metal necks with the bolt-on changers. The guitar plays and sounds great and looks gorgeous. It is overall in very nice condition, pro set-up, it has a few of the common hairline cracks at the changer end of the cabinet (see photo). It is a standard Emmons set-up. E9 neck: the E's raise and lower on LKL and LKR, RKL raises 1 and lowers 6, RKR lowers 2 and 9 and raises 7, pedal 3 lowers 10 a full tone in addition the standard "C" pedal changes. C6 neck: standard Emmons changes, LKL lowers 4, RKL lowers 3, RKR raises 3, pedal 9 raises 6 to F.

I have a 1972 Emmons P/P that is mottled tatoo green.
(It was supposed to be sky blue) Oh well.
That is surely a BEAUTIFUL guitar. It looks ever as nice as my Quad BIGSBY.
Hope you get the price out of it you want and that the emptiness in your heart can be overcome, after your successful sale. |

RARE BIRD! I've never seen a metal neck bolt-on from that era. Excellent shape as well. _________________ My rig: Infinity and Telonics.
Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? |

Its hard to believe that this guitar has not sold.
I would be tempted to buy it myself if it had the "cut away" back. I'm tall and its hard for me to play a full back guitar even if a 1" raise kit is installed.
I already own two really great PP's and I guess thats enough anyway in these hard economic times.
Someone is missing out on a great sounding guitar. _________________ Zum SD 10 Hybrid, Zum D 10 Hybrid, Emmons SD 10 P.P.
