Martina gave a great performance on the Letterman show last night. Who is her steel player? He sounded great.
Our good friend Jenee Fleener ("The Fiddlist") played guitar and sang harmony. Jenee, all your friends in Arkansas are very proud of you.

I think she is one of the best country singers in the field also one of the classiest ones, her song selection is not contemporary country but steeped in traditional country, she even did a traditional album with a bunch of classic country tunes although she has done some Pop stuff here and there and she's beautiful to boot, Looks, vocal chops and attitude is a winner in Nashville these days..I am a fan.

Wayne is not only a great musician and one of the good guys but he is also a tone junky. I've turned to him many times for advice on what he's using (pickups, efx, etc...). I've never heard him that he didn't play and sound wonderful.

Mike, as I recall, you're a bit of a tone monster yourself.
BTW, I have Wayne's old GP100 with 3 or 4 banks of Martina song settings from a few years back. Doesn't help a bit. I still can't play like Wayne
Been looking for a girl singer that does Martina covers sos I can use 'em, but no luck so far. |
