Siloam Springs Steel Guitar Club October jam was one of the better ones for sure. Six steels, one dobro and good back up of bass, rythm guitar and drums.
A special thanks to Clark Cox and wife, Patsy, for driving up and providing great drums and thanks to Patsy for doing a great vocal on my turn. Jerry and Carolyn Latty came with them and Jerry played his beautiful dobro ( my favorite color too ) We were surprised and blessed with our friends Clovis and Vivian Richards showing up and I think Clovis' Justice guitar was the hit of the party. Another wonderful surprise was having our brother and friend, Virgil Pittman, back after a lengthy absense with a health issue.
Several visitors and great fellowship and fun--all in all a geat afternoon !

Bill thanks for the pictures and it was one of the better jams. I sure had a great time, having a full rhythm section makes it so much easier.Next month maybe we can have the same group and adding Ben Chesney and David Starr with their steels. Thank you Bill for coming and taking pictures. I promise I will bring the album next month showing all your hard work!  |

| Just wanted to say a big thank you to the S.S.S.G.A. for allowing Viv and I to attend your meeting. We had a great time and really enjoyed visting with every one. I was also very happy to see Virgil and to hear that he is doing better. I enjoyed seeing the pictures Bill posted. ( I just wonder how he made me look so old? LOL) I think I know what Bill and Donley were talking about in the picture ---- How do we get rid of that Clovis guy. Thanks so much and look forward to doing it again. Clovis & Viv |
