Smiley with Tommy Overstreet on Hee Haw last night, proving once again that he is a great player.
Smiley has been in the game a long while. At first I didn't recognise him with no beard and dark hair, but I looked different forty years ago myself.

Hey Bobbe....any chance of a link to this show ?
As you know..Smiley and I are Mates.....he told me that he was with T.O. for about 13 years...Tommy sacked him at least once a year....Tommy once sacked the whole band for taking the bus to go see another band in a club without his permission.
Also they were doing a show sharing with Johnny Duncan.....there were big Banners over the club with the stars names on....so Smiley and another band member climbed up an swapped them around to read.."Johnny Overstreet...and Tommy Duncan "!!!!
As you know the man is Wild !!!...thats why we are brothers !!!!! |

Bobbe,
Is Smiley Roberts that shy and retiring guy that was in your store when I visited in April. You know the one - he wouldn't say boo to a goose and would not venture an opinion on anything. _________________ Show Pro D10 - amber (8+6), MSA D10 Legend XL Signature - redburst (9+6), Sho-Bud Pro 111 Custom (8+6), Emmons black Push-Pull D10 (8+5), Zum D10 (8x8), Hudson pedal resonator.
