I own 3 of his CD-s and enjoyed his YouTube stuff as well. He's one of my favourites. Also worth of listening how he plays fiddle, mandolin, guitar and dobro.

I think that Milo is more widely know as a fiddle player. Milo was playing fiddle on the Johnny High Music show in Arlington, Tx. with Maurice Anderson. Since Johnny's death, I think the show has started back up with Maurice on steel, don't know about the rest of the band.

If you've ever heard the steel guitar break on LeeAnn Rime's "Blue", that's Milo Deering. Great player/musician.

If my feeble old mind remembers right, wasn't Milo the road GUITAR player for LeAnn Rimes for many years (Junior Knight on Steel)?

By any chance, is he one of the guitar players in the following video:

As an aside, who is the steel player in that video?

Several years ago Tom Bradshaw put out a pretty big publication I got. Tom provided background on many top steelers & one was Milo Deering & his great ability on many instruments. There was a CD credited to Milo.
