I want to give a big THANK YOU! to everyone who came out and to the Route 66 Show in Baxter this year. We had a great crowd who were nice and excited to be there. We love getting to play our music and visit with friends, and having folks come from all over to join in, makes it so much more fun. Thank you all for coming and thank you for your kind donations. This year was a another success and so much fun, thanks to YOU!
I also want to thank everyone who helped me in the kitchen and who brought food. The ladies in our club are so very good to bring and do anything we ask of them. So, THANK YOU ladies for all your help. Thanks also to Barbara and Mom who join in when they arrive and help me all weekend. Thanks to Chris and Marvin for keeping my trash emptied. Thanks to Ray's sisters, and of course, David (my fly killer, LOL) for all they do and bring. So many people, help, I am sure I left someone out, but I do appreciate all that everyone does.

Dana, kudos to what you just said. I'd like to add that DeWain Maye received our Pioneer Award friday night. Mike McGee received our Steel Player of the Year Award saturday night and Marty Neer received our Kansas Steel Guitar Hall of Fame Award. Congratulations to all three for their awards and they were very deserving for them. Great show and looking forward to next year for our 10th anniversary show. Ray

| Yes, a big congrats to all three of those guys! I wanted to post pictures of them, but I was in the kitchen working, so i didn't get to snap any. Maybe Chad and others who got pics will post them here for us. Chad got Mike, but not the other two. |
