I don't mean to be a pain, but will somebody tell me how to use the tuning nuts to tune this guitar. Having trouble with knee lever 4 & 8 (E - F) No, I don't want to get rid of it, yet. Very Happy Fred

That is not a standard knee lever on a Maverick. Someone had to have added that. The knee lever on a Maverick (factory) lowered the second and eight strings.

As a fellow tinker and owner of a "downscale" PSG, I'll try to help. It appears the Mav has a pull-release style changer. The added pedal raises 4 & 8 from E to F, right?

Adjust the lever so it moves the way you want it to. Engage the lever and tune the raised strings to F. Release the lever and use the tuning nuts to adjust the "released" strings to E.

If you don't like the "timing" of the two raises, you might have to adjust the mechanism underneath. Hope this helps.

Thanks Gary. With your help I finally got it straightened out. I guess I'll keep it another week. Laughing Fred
