Back in 1976 I arranged a recording for a young singer by the name of Greg Allen. This was recorded in Nashville, Tenn. I decided to use Julian Tharpe and Jimmy Bryant...This is rare to catch Julian as a session musician. Great blues song and some fantastic picking. You can hear 'The Good Life' and bits of other steel recordings from that time period by going to the following:
