I have a 2007 Excel D-10 (8 x 4) the issue is that my RKL raises the 7th string (F#) to a G maj. My RKR only lowers the 2nd (D#) a half note to C# and not any other strings. I am seeking to obtain the Emmons setup with a split (6th and 1st and 2nd) and I am not sure how to do this. Any help? Anyone around Columbia area familiar with this type of setup and how to achieve it with the Excel? Thanks. _________________ Clark Frady

I dont know about Excel, but on my Carter the RKL raises 3 and 7 a half on the C6 neck. It also raises 1 a whole, lowers 6 a whole on E9. The split works with 6 lowering all by itself first, then all the raises on the second half of the throw.
I could possibly swap one of the C6 raises to a raise on string 2 on this lever, but Im not sure. C6 changes have something to do with how you can split your lever on E9 anyway. Do you have any C6 changes on RKL?
