| I put one on my Mullen recently, it sounds really nice with the Peavey Session 400, but has a strange quality to the tone on my Reeves tube amp. |

I have one on a Zum. It has a powerful output and nice, full single coil type sound with very little hum compared to a single coil pup. I like it better than the humbucker I had in there.
Be advised though, they can be a challenge to mount in some guitars due to the height, length and the mounting screw configuration. |

I have them on my D10 GFI, and have had a lot of compliments on the tone and sustain.I'd highly recommend them.

Many times... mounting a new pick up you may have to shave or adjust accordingly.
Don't take your PSG apart unless you are prepared to learn something and or improvise solutions.
I like my Alumitone and ended up mounting it direct to the body in my Carter..
Now at times I wonder what the diff in sound would be in I put foam under it..
A mind is a terrible thing...when it comes to perception of tone quality.

Per, mine is an older 81 Zum. There was an issue with the changer mounts being so tall as to interfere with the AT's legs.
If yours is a recent build, it should not be any problem at all. Paddy Long and a few others have acquired AT's with the mounting plate and stated that they bolt right in their Zums w/no fuss. |

Mine's a 2006 hybrid, but on the other hand I don't have the mounting plate. So I guess it's time to put my dormant engineering degree to good use.  |

| Per, you should have no trouble making a template so as to fabricate a mounting plate. I think Paddy's Zum is a Hybrid also. |

Per, I had Alooms on my 2001 Zum standard - I got mine from Carters so they had a thin plate which made attaching them to the Zum pickup plate a breeze - they sound very good and I'm sure you will enjoy them !
And they look great ...
PS: I am currently trialing some experimental pickups in the same guitar which are quite intriguing -- !!
