I believe that's Gene Fields' personal PS210...with the built-in seat, hence minus the back legs. Only a handful ever made - maybe less than a dozen - and most, if not all the others had four legs.
Note the fretted front neck.

That's probably the only one of those that had the raised frets...it's just the style he plays. His GFI has the same setup.
Go to YouTube and search for Thumbs Carllile, and you'll get somewhat of an idea what it sounds like...only add pedals & KL's. |

Gene built that prototype for himself during the development of the PS-210 for the marketplace. He uses a fretted 8-string extended Dobro-type tuning in front which he has always played in Thumbs Carlile (sp?) fashion. The rear neck is either a "straight" D6th or G6th...can't remember after all these years. The pedals are only connected to the rear neck. Gene rarely uses pedals anyhow. Wow, what a monster player!!! It's a shame that the PS-210 project was canceled after so much of Gene's expertise and effort went into its development. The guitar was and remains light years ahead of the curve in so many ways that I won't get into them here...there are many other Forum posts addressing the PS-210, so mine would be redundant at best, and insufficiently lacking at worst. The guitar is just awesome and brilliant in design. It was way ahead of its time for sure, but still merits recognition to this day for its superior design features after all these decades.
