I am extremely happy Bobbe was inducted into the Steel Guitar Hall of fame. Bobbe has done a lot for steel guitar and the people who play steel guitar. I am honored to call Bobbe a long time friend.

I don't know how much Bobbe paid the plaque designer to make him look handsome, but it was worth every cent! Laughing

Well done Bobbe - I can't think of a more deserving recipient of this award. You live and breathe steel guitar, and always make time for those who come by and visit your great store.

I am proud to call Bobbe an old friend as well. It's not that I have known him long.....it's because he is OLD!!! LOL. I can say that because I am older than he is (4 months and change...but who's counting??)

It has been over twenty years since I have seen Bobbe but it was my honor and privilage to be associated with him for a brief time. Great guy and musician. Congrats to you Bobbe! He and I were out to dinner one night going to play somewhere and this guy recognizes Bobbe. He comes over and says "I know you, you're uh, uh..." Bobbe says "Bobbe Seymour" and the guy says "no, no that's not it" Bobbe just turned and looked at me!

Bobbe -

Now, don't y'all go ruinin' that plaque by polishing it every day!

Ya know that I'm happy for you.

Congratulations, Bobbe! Well deserved!

Hope to hear you play again soon. Maybe we'll both make it to Lexington or Chubby Howard's show.

Congratulations Bobbe! I know I tease you occasionally, but brushing twice a day can really help with the plaque.

One of the rare instances in history in which the sculpture of the subject is actually more attractive than the man is in person! Laughing

Seriously, I want to congratulate my friend once again and publicly (I congratulated him privately a year ago Wink ) for receiving the honor of SGHOF induction. A great player and asset to the steel guitar world.
