Eck sent me a copy of this a couple of years back. Just to see and hear him play has brought several tears to a sad man's eyes.
Thanks for posting.

That was very sweet. I didn't know Eric but that video brought tears to my eyes. Not just tears of sadness for his death but also tears of joy for his life. I wish I had known him. Thanks for posting. Don |

Thanks for posting this vid, Doug.
I attended Eric’s funeral, and, through the pictures, article clippings, Band posters that were displayed, and his Mothers words, I saw a side of him that I had never known before.
I too miss this guys presence among us. |

What a tremendous Human Being. Thanks for sharing this. It's funny that he is actually something like my mental image of him, as I don't really know him. This Forum is much poorer because of his silenced keypad. I will miss his wit and curmudgeonly ways. And his wisdom. Peace and blessing to all who he touched. Again, thank you. _________________ RICK ABBOTT

Thank you for posting this, listening to Eric play and speak while reflecting back through time with the photo's sure puts a different spin on things which I thought were important, but clearly are not.

I, too, had not met Eric, in person; but would always take the time to read his posts here on the forum; I found him to be very witty, honest, and most of all, his comraderee with his fellow musicians. He called a spade, a spade but deep down, you knew he loved being a challenge to whom-ever he was speaking to. His tribute was out-standing and his love for music was superb, in my humble opinion..RIP in peace, my friend..Bernie _________________ 2007 Zum S-10; 1967 Sho-Bud [ D-10 ]; 85 S-10 Sierra; 1953 Multi-Kord [ 6 String- 4 pedals ] A Sho-Bro six String Resonator Guitar; Nashville 112 Amp; hilton Vol. Pedal |
