I just recently became a real PSG player. After having a new vkl installed, I found that when I used my rkl knee lever, the string associated with the vkl went flat. Looking under the guitar, I found that rkl was pushing against vkl. So I checked the vkl post to make sure it had not been damaged. Then I shortened the travel distance of rkl and retuned it. For me, this was a great mechanical accomplishment. And I found that I prefer the shorter travel distance on the rkl lever. I am strictly a C6 player who almost always tries to disguise pedal use. I find that the shorter travel distance helps me do that. Should I go through my kls and shorten up all the travel distances? There must be disadvantages as well, eh?

That is one thing that makes a Sho Bud sound so good. The knee lever's move a long way. You can hear the move ! The old MSA was that way.

Mmmmmm. I thought it felt a little more resistant. Harder action may actually be good for me. I tend to get a little too vigorous on the kls.
"You can hear the move." If you're saying what I think you are, I don't usually want it heard. And when I do, it still often needs to be done quickly.
