Thinking of our American families & all that lost loved ones on this 10th Anniversary of 9/11....It was 10 years ago a few weeks after 9/11, I went into the studio with my good musician friends, Ian Tanner, Daren Walters & Jimmy Boudreau & cut the Amercian Anthem as a Tribute to all the families ...I couldn't load the mp3...so it's on my site under music... if you want to sit back & reflect on the day that changed the world forever...love you all... http://www.myspace.com/peeweecharles |

Ten years later, I leaned back in my chair, put my ear phones on an listened for the 31st time and teared up as well.
Just back from Norway and experiencing the atrocities happening there lately, I got a little snapshot of how you all must have felt on that fateful day.
We stand as one, my friends.
I know what you say, Ed, that the Emmons was a great recording guitar. That comes through loud and clear in that song. _________________ BenRom Pedal Steel Guitars

Hi Ed,
That was beautiful. Our son, his wife and our brand new grandson lives just north of Chicago so we have more than the usual affiliation with our USA neighbours. I look forward to all your posts here on the form as your playing is always excellent and provides great inspiration to a beginner. Keep up the good work.
Cheers,

Thanks Ed for posting this.
I just got back from my town's 10th Anniversary 9-11 ceremony at the Memorial that I helped design and construct with all volunteer help in Westfield, NJ.
It was bittersweet to re-connect with our committee members, the people tearing up during the prayers, the bag pipes, the bell tolling for the 12 people we lost, the police and rescue squad procession.
We completed it in time for the 1st Anniversary, it seems so long ago, my youngest daughter wasn't even born yet, but she was there today to see the event.
Please pray for the victims, families and friends tonight and never forget, but remember the American Spirit will never die
