I'm going to see Merle and Kris in Portland, Oregon in a few weeks. I'm wondering if anyone knows if they have a steel player on tour?

I double checked and it doesn't say on the ticket, ha ha...

I saw them together a couple of years ago in Seattle with no steel. bummer, wanted to see Norm, but still was a good show with Merle's son Benny on guitar, Biff Adams on snare, a sand-up electric bass and a fiddle and acoustic harmony singer/picker, whose name I've forgotten. Don't know if they're going with the same line-up his time. I liked the way they traded songs off all night and Benny Haggard is a fine player. Probably 18 now.
