Hello Fellow Steelers!
Up for sale today is a beautiful Black Rains Single 10 that is owned by James Foster. He is a fellow forum member but has been a little under the weather, and I am posting it for him. He is a good friend and a wonderful gentleman. This steel is an original Rains Steel Guitar that was actually built By Bobby Rains and James Foster, the owner.
Description: Black with Emmons Set up. 5 knee levers and 3 floor pedals.
This guitar is in excellent condition with less than 30 hours playing time.
Price: $2000
Please contact James Foster at linfoster7743@sbcglobal.net, or leave a post and he will see it and contact you. Let's see if we can help James out and get his Rains sold for him. Thanks! Larry T

Just a bump for a dang good hombre, James Foster! I'm pretty sure James assisted Bobby quite a bit in making the Rains guitar sound terrific! Great deal on a great guitar. I've played a Rains for over 5 years and I like'em a bunch! RP

If I remember right, James is a retired machinist. Knowing him like I do, I bet this guitar was built with a real eye for perfection and detail.

Beautiful guitar and great price. What is the area at the changer end around the pickup? Is it brushed aluminum or engine turned? Can't tell in the pic.
Thanks

Well, I haven't heard from James today, but I told him early that he already had a tentative buyer for his steel. I believe they have been in contact with each other. Thanks for all of the posts!
