This is the ALNICO magnet JBL that Peavey put in the early Session 400's and LTD 400's. Last year, I had it reconed by master JBL speaker man Woody Woodell from Goodlettesville, TN(Nashville). I played it in comparison to my "original cone" K130's, and I can't tell any difference.

Woody confirmed that this speaker is a K130 with a Peavey label. I had it reconed to what the label says so it matches, to 4 ohms again to use with my Twin. I have two of these speakers, both reconed to 4 ohms, both with the Peavey label. Both sound outstanding, as K130's do. So I am thinning the herd just a little and am letting this one go.

For those not familiar with JBL's, The K130 came out after the D130F model. After the K130 came the E130 ceramic magnet model speaker. The E130's are much heavier than the K130's. JBL K130's are lighter than the EV15L's and BW 1501's. Not by a lot, though.

If someone wants a matched pair, I'd consider that. For now, I'll sell this one. I have $200 in it and need $200 back out of it. Plus shipping. Here's some pics.

Hello James;
I would like to buy this Peavey/JBL K-130 speaker from you. I am on my way to work & I will be gone for the next 12 hrs or so.
I can pay you with PayPal when I get home tonight if that would be OK.
I cannot get to the Steel Forum from my work so if you can wait OK & if not I understand.
Thanks..Ron in Yuma Az 85367
