I have available exquisite replacement fretboards for Emmons PSGs
Some months back I endeavored to acquire the steel finish boards for my own and another push pull I was refurbishing. In conversation with Emmons I was told that those boards were sold out and were not going to be replaced as the print was ‘shall we say’ not enduring the test of time .‘ Not the fault of Emmons but the responsibility of their supplier. Anyway B. Lashley said only white ones from here on as they seem to be ok.
I then ordered the steel ones from another well known source who appeared to still have stock however on arrival they were white! Well I am sorry but I want the steel finish as it was designed. Yes! I am a bit of an Emmons nut!
So as all else failed I set about doing it myself as I have spent endless hours refurbishing these instruments I want SS on the boards so I drew it up myself with meticulous attention to detail and these are spot on as is the finished article as I used a company who already produce for a global amplifier manufacturer.
This action is not to compete with Emmons I have way too much respect for their instrument I have merely fulfilled my own need but in doing so at great expense I can offer the product to others who may have the same requirement, I will not make money here but I may recover some of my costs.
They are now on eBay’s pedal steel guitar section simply because that appears to be where everybody goes these days when looking for something PSG

However feel free to contact me here if eBay is not you thing.
These are stunning!
Sorry about the lengthy explanation! |

Hi Horst, That second picture is one of the boards I just fitted to my own PP. I'll take some wider shots of it in the morning. |

Can you make the old Emmons fretboards with 24 frets and the old colors, or the second style fretboards with the old colors and 26 frets? _________________ Chris Lucker

Sorry I didn't get pics done yesterday I'm down in London now but gigging over the weekend so I'll get some 'fitted' pics. The thickness is 1.5mm (3/64") ... there is still more than ample clearance under the head... the originals boards were .54mm (1/64") |
