Anybody seen one of these or guess what year and maker? I just got her the other day. I cleaned it up and put on some new strings. It sounds pretty good. I'm REALLY liking it more and more as I play it.
the only thing I know is its an "Electro"
here is the control plate and pickup:
it's a sweet lapsteel.
I'm curious as to how old it may be, where it was made etc..

I thought it was a Rick, but wasn't 100% sure. Still wonder about the year..
at any rate, it's fast becoming my favorite steel.

These things are killer. I have one and I love it. Somewere there is a website that has info on how to date these from the # that is on the input jack plate. If I can find it I will send you a link. I keep mine tuned to open E and and its overdriven tone is killer. Here is a clip of me doing a demo of my overdrive with it.
