Steeler: Buddy Emmons
Group: Swing Shift Band
Tune: Triple Play
Label: Step One VHS, 1991

This is a very hip little tune that Buddy wrote, and a fun video. Many of you probably missed it. Luckily someone posted it on YouTube.

Also, this will be the last "Tune Of The Week" from me for awhile as my schedule is jamming up. Anyone else want to carry the ball for awhile? Thanks for all your positive responses, and I hope I turned you on to a few sounds that were new.

Joe

Way cool, Joe. Forgot all about that one. Faron used to act like that on the bus. Laughing

I bought that video when it first came out at the ISGC. Emmons just seemed to be ahead of all others. He sure has been my favorite for years.

The shirt says "Sounds," but his picking hand is hiding the first few letters. (Would this be an example of "palm blocking".) Rolling Eyes
