I am looking to buy a couple sets of Emmons Extra Lively strings if anyone has any extra sets. I called Emmons and it will be two weeks before they have anymore in stock. I have a show coming up in a week and these strings are what I ususally use. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am looking for E-9TH. |

Danny, Emmons repackages GHS for their strings. They don't make their own. You should be able to find your guages at a guitar shop. I have them if you can't find them locally or here on the Forum. Let me know.

Emmons strings are not repackaged but bought in bulk and packaged. Ron Lashley Sr. was involved in the design of the Boomer string. |

So, they're "packaged" Boomers instead of "re-packaged" Boomers? |

Also guaged differently. At one time there were only about 3 actual manufaturers of strings which produce product for all the many different brands. Many of the string brands that could be your favorites are more than likely made by the largest manufacturer, GHS. |

FYI...We do not carry/order Boomers strings. We carry our own Brand of Strings designed by Ron Lashley and Yes made by GHS... _________________ Emmons Guitar Co. by Lashley, Inc.

And if you use boomers instead of Emmons strings you will most likely have to adjust the travel for the wrapped strings as the travel distance is different. Especially on a push pull. Also the tone is different. |
