Bill,

Maybe you could have gotten a sub if you had not specified "fairly good". There are several "pretty good" players in these parts who would work for $150 although I can't speak for Indiana. Laughing

Just kidding. I hope you are feeling better, sir.

Wish I'd seen it earlier... Less then an hour from the house down Hwy36. I personally think there are a lot of pretty good pickers out there, that don't think they are "Fairly good". I'm no where near fairly good, but I can hit a couple pretty good players, just by throwing a rock.

One more reason to have a list of all known players/level of play/area they will play in, etc.

Bill, I hope it went OK and you get to feeling better. Not fun playing when your ill. By the way, I think I'm the short red Derby guy, you met at the Columbus Jam a while back.

For all the replies.
I put the fairly good in the post I just wouldn't feel right sending someone to a gig I was supposed to do that didn't know what those things are hanging out the bottom of their steel Smile...
I finally just called the guy and told him I didn't feel good enough to drag my steel, amp seat volume pedal etc etc out..I ended up taking my stratocaster and glad I did. the only song we done was it's 5 o clock somewhere and of course Margaritaville.. that I got to play on ..
a Keyboard player who also played saxophone basically hogged every lead lick possible....good news..
I made 150.00:)... No Shoes no shirt....no....
