Lee Jeffriess told me about Frankie Kay and after hearing what Lee had to say about him, I just had to talk with Frankie. Frank is one of the nicest guys you could ever want to talk with. He's 81 years old, with a memory as sharp as a tack and he can still play the heck out of his Stringmaster.

The coolest thing about Frankie is his interest in Jazz and how he brought that to the steel. The article is complete except for a few little tabs that I want to post and a small soundbite of Frankie playing for me over the phone.
