The Florida Steel Guitar Club's August 2011 Meeting/Jam will be Wednesday, August 10th, CR470, Lake Panasoffkee, Fl. (our regular Meeting/Jam place).
Come early and support Catfish Johnny's Restaurant before the jam.
The FSGC Club holds monthly Meetings/Steel Guitar Jams the 2nd Wednesday of each month.
The Jam runs from 5:30 until 8:30...
Lake Panasoffkee is exit 321 on I75, approximately 60 miles west of Orlando and about the same distance north of Tampa.

Last I heard, outstanding lap steeler Phil Bender will be coming with the Sarasota contingent.
Don't miss this one. I've heard Phil play 4 Wheel Drive on his lap steel. |

Blast you Jack Stoner, with a little help I maybe could get through the first few bars, but as you know I am just coming back from open heart surgery, and dealing with Parkinsons, so don't expect too much. But Lord willing, I will be there.
