I acquired this banjo in a trade and it has been played very little.
I don't know much about Banjos so don't know what the difference is between an "open Back" design as opposed to what must be termed a "Closed Back". The best I can describe it is that it is in very nice condition and appears to be hardly played at all.
New suggested retail was $599.00 ******I GUESS THE LATEST MSRP IS $459.00 WHICH MAKES MY ASKING PRICE STILL A BARGAIN FOR A NEAR NEW CONDITION INSTRUMENT******
A savings of $180.00 with shipping included.
Thanks for the additional info Mr. Wireman it is appreciated.
I have not played it and won't be playing it so need to move it.
Will take $275.00 shipped and insured to cont. US. and might consider something in partial trade.
Thanks for looking.
Please email or PM to request pics.

Loren

I might be interested if it's an open back banjo. When you turn it over if there is wood on the back it is a closed back, if you can see the underside of the banjo head, it's an open back.

Hello Gene.

The Banjo is definitely an open back and I have learned it is model C100 "Cripple Creek" and it is still available.
Thanks .
