For sale is a beautiful and RARE '59 Rickenbacker 508 console steel guitar. It has three eight string necks. It's in near mint condition for its age and sounds amazing! Everything is all original and comes with the very cool silver Rickenbacker case. This has the famous Rickenbacker horseshoe pickups. I just put on brand new strings. Don't miss out on this opportunity to own a very rare Rickenbacker guitar. I'm asking $1250 which includes shipping within the USA. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for looking.

Here's some information I found online...

The 500 series looks to have been introduced in 1954-55, as a triple neck, 22 1/2 inch scale console style steel guitar, following the DW (double 6 or Cool and SW (single 6 or Cool models introduced a few years earlier, which had a contoured body and tripod legs.

The 500 series was available as either three 8 string necks (508) or an 8/10/8 configuration (518). Custom configurations could also be factory ordered with combinations of 6, 8 and 10 strings.

The instrument features three horseshoe pickups, one volume and one tone control, plus on/off switches for each neck, and was available in either natural or walnut.

I'll put some clips on soon. I have some mp3s that my wife Lynn and I did. I love the sound of the guitar.

Love this guitar. Looks identical to one I sold about 12 years ago. Can't remember who I sold it to but swore if I ever found it again I'd buy it back. Dustin, please keep me in mind should you ever decide to let someone else enjoy this one. Thanks,
Daymon
