I observed only three pull rods and the manner in which they are installed leads me to believe that there was some very amateurish tinkering going on underneath. The knee lever(s)are not functional due to the missing rods. If you are capable of performing the work yourself, this would appear to be a worthwhile project. If not, the end result may be end up being more costly than purchasing a fully playable unit. |

Offer $100, if you are doing the work to restore it. Your going to need a lot of parts, and many hours labor. Even then it might be a elephant. Looks like a pedal is missing too. Go buy a complete steel!!! _________________ Sho-Bud LDG, Martin D28, Ome trilogy 5 string banjo, Ibanez 4-string bass, dobro, fiddle, and a tubal cain. Life Member of AFM local 142 |

There may be a ShoBud expert out there with three extra legs and a closet full of rods and pedals and knees... but if you were them, you'd already know it! |

No. Sho Bud S10 3 and 4 show up on the forum for $1200 to $1400 every now and then. Parts are available, but like everything else, they are not cheap. New fingers for mine to replace the old warn fingers ran me I think $325. Check the price of parts and start adding it up. I doubt it is worth it. If you can't do the work, forget it. _________________ ShoBud Pro 1, 75 Tele, 85 Yamaha SA 2000, Fender Cybertwin, |
