For a prelude of Mike's extensive knowledge of "Western Swing" and the "steel guitar" dial up Mike's show www.swininwest.com today from 1-4 (Eastern).
For those lucky enough to attend Scotty's ISGC show you can meet with Mike and say "Hello".
Mike, I'll see you in November at the PSGA show.

This worth repeating. Mike s a lover of Western Swing and the Steel guitar. His show (as far as i know) is the only one that showcases Steel in all its forms. Including local ,club
and others just making good music who
would normally not get a chance to get their music played. We need a lot of Mikes to help keep the Steel alive.
By all means if you can give him a listen.

Don & Jack,

Thanks so very much for your kind words! When you all go to the home page of www.swinginwest.com
today on the listen options I would encourage the use of the Quick Time option in lieu of Windows Media Player as there is some sort of periodic buffering problem that has to be resolved with the Windows option.

The show is a wonderful eclectic mix of Something Old, New, Borrowed & Blue and Tommy Detamore is in the steel guitarist spotlight set. Again 1-4 PM (Eastern)
