You should check out Tommy Dodd's, which clips on the leg of your steel.

BTW, if you go to Line 6's web site and go to the "custom tone' page and do a search for "steel" you'll find several good PSG sounds there. If you do a search for "pedal steel" you'll find only find one.

To enter the sounds on the web site into your pod, you also have to download something they call "Gearbox."

Both gearbox and all the custom tones are free. And the tech support guys at the company will walk you step by step through the process of installing the sounds into your pod.

Between Jack Stoner's presets, and the ones from Line 6, I now have so many great steel sounds on my pod, it's hard to decide which ones to use.

I like it. Smile

I use the standard Line6 bracket, on top of a short mic stand. You can sort of see it in this picture. There's a set of headphones sitting on the POD XT.
