What pedals and or lever are used to make a major, minor and 7 chords on a standard C6?
I have a cheat sheet that shows me what the pedals and knee levers do with standard grips on the E9 at open position but can seem to find one for the C6.

you'll find the C maj7 chord at fret 7 w: the root on string 9 (no pedals - no levers)
in the same position w: pedal 6 = C7
in the same position w: pedal 5 = A7 / A9
other positions for a Cmaj7 :
fret 5 w: pedal 7
fret 10 w: pedal 5 & half tone lower on string 3
you also have a C7 there as well - just find the right strings
fret 10 w: pedal 5 & half tone raise on string 3

if you can Arne get yourself a copy of Buddy Emmons Basic C6
(i have one if you want)

Here's a link to another great C6th book to have by Neil Flanz.

Scroll down to the "C6th chord dictionary".

Here is a place to start:

I hope it makes sense. Once you have the basic triad under your fingers the 7ths are just a string or lever move away.

Arne,

I have quite a few courses for the C6th tuning and my course HWP-200 is the best one I have to start with. It has several pages covering chords on a standard C6th tuning using 5 pedals and 1 knee lever. I cover voicings for major, minor, 7th, 9th, 13th, dim, aug, maj 7th, maj 9th and more. The course also contains scales, intros, runs and licks, endings, technique, 5 songs and more and also comes with a CD which has a rhythm track to practice with. My web site is:www.herbywallace.com or email me at: HWallac480@aol.com

Herby I'm interested in your course I'll send you a e-mail regarding payment and shipping to Norway.

The Neil Flanz book suggested by John Besler is the most comprehensive I have seen. If nothing else, it astounds you regarding how many chords can be made in C6.

I've got the course Herby suggested - it's very clear, and the chord tones are marked out (which note is the root, third, etc). It's great beginning book.

I also recommend Reece Anderson's Clic System charts - very useful, very clear
