Hello all,
Just picked up a used Session 400 LTD.

I'm not familiar with the Ground Switch and how to use it properly.

I've searched online for the manual, but Peavey doesn't offer the exact manual for my 400.

Anybody?

steve

I don't know which model you have, but far as I know there were only 2 methods on these amps. Basically used to switch grounds so as to reduce or eliminate hum.

Certain environments, lighting and wiring configurations or equipment connected in the same electrical line can cause hum in your amp.

The original one was integrated with the 3 position on/off power switch. One of the 2 on positions will yield the least amount of hum in certain situations.

The more recent, was a separate dedicated 3 position rocker style ground switch on the front panel which did the same basic thing. Assuming I understand your question.

The following is a pdf so give it a couple mins to load. Look at item 15.
