I just got me one of these little dudes and it is a super amp. Power to spare, very clean output, and only weighs 35 lbs. Fooled me! Jack _________________ Zum D10 8x5,rev pre-amp, TC M300, Split 12, n-112, IZZY, Hilton vp, Geo L, BJS Hughey, Live Steel |

Jack,
is the 80XL able to produce the same volume like a Nashville 112 ?

I use mine a lot, but I also use an extension speaker with it.
I've done sessions and played medium sized bar/VFW's and had more than enough volume to handle the job. I don't even think about hauling my NV400 anywhere now.
But..........it's always a personal preferance, I would think there will be some that don't like it but to me it's one of the best amps I've ever owned.

I have a Cube 60 which I love. Does everything I could want and I can lift it. _________________ Bill |

Thomas, it sure sounds as stout to me. The friend I have played for for 15 years stopped by and listened to it and he was simply amazed at the note clarity and power. I use the JC Clean and Black Panel functions on the amp modeling function. This is a new model Cube with 80 amps and a 12 inch speaker. A real boomer if you want. We did a blind test with a few steelers between a 112 and a cube, guess which one won? |

Hi Roger,
people liked the cube more. We tested a cube 30. |
