I just got me one of these little dudes and it is a super amp. Power to spare, very clean output, and only weighs 35 lbs. Fooled me! Jack

Jack,
is the 80XL able to produce the same volume like a Nashville 112 ?

I use mine a lot, but I also use an extension speaker with it.

I've done sessions and played medium sized bar/VFW's and had more than enough volume to handle the job. I don't even think about hauling my NV400 anywhere now.

But..........it's always a personal preferance, I would think there will be some that don't like it but to me it's one of the best amps I've ever owned.

Thomas, it sure sounds as stout to me. The friend I have played for for 15 years stopped by and listened to it and he was simply amazed at the note clarity and power. I use the JC Clean and Black Panel functions on the amp modeling function. This is a new model Cube with 80 amps and a 12 inch speaker. A real boomer if you want. Jack

We did a blind test with a few steelers between a 112 and a cube, guess which one won?

Hi Roger,
people liked the cube more. We tested a cube 30.
