From Lloyd Green:

Hi Bent,
Actually, this has a two part answer. When I first started playing this LDG in May, 1973 there was a Sho-Bud single coil 18,000 ohm pickup. I used it for the rest of my major career, though 1988 when I quit sessions for 15 years.

When I started recording again in 2003 all the technology had changed so I installed a BL 710 which I still use.

I do miss the sparkle of that single coil but not the hum which is prohibitive for today’s recording sessions.

Best regards,

Lloyd Green
