Check out this guy's version of Weather Report's Birdland on a flat-top acoustic. Pretty good stuff.

That's better than pretty good stuff. I haven't heard of Tim Thompson before but that was great.
I heard steeler Chuck Rich play Birdland with Dennis Harrell (sp?) on bass in the Boulevard club in Cincinnati back in '78 or '79. They did an awesome job too. I have a tape of it somewhere and if I can find it I'll try to post it.
