My wife wants to buy an E-book, preferably one without problems is easy to use, and which she can use to buy books from different vendors and libraries not just Amazon or Barnes & Noble, etc. I'd like to use it to to download articles from the internet (particularly this Forum!), Youtube etc.
We were looking at the color NOOK but I've researched and found out that it has a number of problems.
How many GBs would one be a reasonable amount to expect?
Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks all, stevet |

I use an iPad (first version) for eBook reading - BUT, I don't make a prolonged habit of it. The screen is not sharp enough for constant use (the iPad2 may be better in this respect). The main problem for me is the significant glare and reflection of the screen. It is unusable outdoors because of the sky reflection. It's OK in a car with a black headliner, but only so-so with a light colored headliner due to the same problem (never while driving of course!).
For frequent use, I'd suggest an e-reader with less glare, sharp-as-a-tack resolution, light weight and good contrast control. |
