Drummer looks like Willie Ackerman to me; here is a pic of Willie in 1958 with Jim Glaser for comparison.
Bass: not Bob Moore, not Lightnin' Chance, not Joe Zinkan. Couldn't find a good pic of Junior Huskey, Henry Strzelecki, Buddy Killen, or Ernie Newton to compare.

Willie appears to be playing right handed. The drummer in the first picture is set up left handed. |

Depending what year that photo was taken it could be Mel Rogers. Mel was stationed at Ft Carson part of 64 and 65 because I played a gig with him in 65 about January I think.

The Microphone is a Neumann U67 mounted upside down because of heat from the internal tube. _________________ You can observe a lot just by looking |

Thanks to all who replied. As correctly identified above - the drummer is Mel Rogers and the bass player is James Kirkland. I was able to confirm your answers on Scotty Moore's website where the photo is captioned.
Bent Romnes - I don't know what song they were recording. I'm almost sure this is a still photograph - not from movie footage. It is frequently used in books and articles relating to Studio B. Mitch Drumm - great photo of Ackerman. Thanks again to everybody. Even a wrong guess can lead to a right answer. This picture will be in the new CMHOF Chet exhibit and now we can write the caption. Here is photo w/ captions from Scotty Moore's website:
