Is there a difference in the size of the birthstones in a regular BJS bar, and a John Hughey bar? Or do the older bars have a larger birthstone?? I saw one on You Tube with a larger stone than mine. I was just wondering about the difference in size.

The bars come in same sizes as regular bars I had a BJ bar with a Ruby in it I was born in January but liked the Rubys looks better than the Garnet so Bill just adds the stones to the regualr bars I would assume...you can get B stone bars in same size as regular bars... I think a Stroud bar is the BEST...
Mine is 25 years old and still looks totally new...

A couple years ago, Bill told me that he switched to a different size stone several years ago. I don't remember the reason; whether it was price, supply, or a combination.
